Samuel Whitehead - Montana DeMolay Executive Officer

Sam originally joined Edward C. Day Chapter in Helena, MT in 1993. He served as the president of the DeMolay Club in Great Falls until enough boys were recruited to form a chapter, as the Great Falls, MT chapter was dormant at the time. He then transferred to the newly reopened Great Falls Chapter and was installed as the first Master Councilor, helping restart what is now the William D. Cummings Chapter. Starting in 1995 he served Montana DeMolay in several state offices, and received the Degree of Chevalier in 1997. On 6/3/1998 he was raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason in Meridian Lodge #105 and in 2002 he was installed as the youngest Worshipful Master of Masons in Montana at the time. In 2001 he reached his DeMolay majority, and was then trained as a DAD Advisor. He has served in several capacities on Great Falls and Helena chapter advisory boards (Ritual Advisor, Chapter Advisor and Chairman). Also, upon majority he was placed on the Executive Officer staff by D.A.D. Ted Williams and upon his retirement as Executive Officer he became the State Chapter D.A.D. for Wade Sellers. In 2006 he was appointed to his current position by DeMolay International, becoming the Executive Officer of Montana DeMolay.

J.D. joined the Great Falls Chapter Order of DeMolay in 1999. In July 2003, he joined the State Officer Core of Montana DeMolay at Conclave held in Great Falls, MT. He served as Western District Representative, State Ritual Director, State Junior Councilor, and State Senior Councilor. In March 2006, he was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason in Meridian Lodge no. 105 in Cascade, Montana. In the spring of 2007 he, alongside his Brother Joshua Olsen, pledged themselves to the Great Falls Scottish Rite. From 2007-2009, he served two one-year terms as State Master Councilor of Montana DeMolay. In July 2008, he received the degree of Chevalier in Great Falls, MT. In July 2009, he received his Majority in Billings, MT. In 2009, he became a DeMolay D.A.D. Advisor. In 2011, he was awarded the Guild of the Leather Apron based on involvement with the State Officers and helping build membership throughout the jurisdiction.

Dan Massey

DAD Massey joined Loyalty Chapter Order of DeMolay in 1989. He served as Master Councilor of the newly formed Magic City Chapter in 1992. He joined the State Officer Team that same year as the State Sweetheart Director followed by the State Conclave Director, State Junior Councilor, and State Senior Councilor, and finally State Master Councilor in 1996-1997. DAD Massey joined Rimrock Lodge #149, that same year and has since joined the York Rite, Scottish Rite and Al Bedoo Shrine. DAD Massey received the Chevalier Degree in 1997. He became a DeMolay D.A.D. Advisor in 2011 and was awarded the Guild of the Leather Apron the following year.

Trever Howard

Trever joined the Magic City Chapter Order of DeMolay in 1999. In July 2005, he joined the State Officer Core of Montana DeMolay at Conclave held in Lewistown, MT. He served as State Scribe for two consecutive terms and State Activities Director. In 2009, he was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason in Ashlar Lodge Cas No. 29 in Billings, Montana. In July 2008, he received the degree of Chevalier and recieved his Majority in Great Falls, MT. In 2008, he became a DeMolay D.A.D. Advisor.
